In the CAVE, users can walk around 1:1 scale mockups of their designs prior to construction. These reviews can reveal design issues so they can find and fix problems in the digital data before steel is cut or concrete is poured. This pre-review enables designers, customers, and end-users to become familiar with their designs early-on in the design process. The design reviews can be used to study alternative arrangements of equipment, perform down-selection of vendors, and provide peace of mind to the designer that all of their design goals are being met. |
